We start with a plan

Firstly, Filing Plus will develop a comprehensive plan for migrating a Company's network, voice and data communications, desktop computers and other components. Working with a Company's Facilities and IT departments, Filing Plus identify the equipment and services in place. The outcome is a detailed plan for creating a new environment and migrating existing equipment and services to it.

Moving the network

Before a move, Filing Plus create an inventory of equipment. Once the network has been brought down and powered off, Filing Plus do all the decommissioning work, taking care to prepare especially sensitive equipment for a safe and efficient move. Once this equipment arrives at the new location, Filing Plus reinstall the equipment and assist with re-commissioning. Finally, we help with configuring switches, routers, and related equipment.

Moving desktops

Getting everyone's desktop computer uninstalled, moved and reconnected can be a daunting task for any Company. At Filing Plus we have the staff and expertise to take this all in our stride. We conduct a walkthrough and a physical inventory of all equipment prior to a
Company relocation. This alerts us to anything that's unusual and identifies situations needing special attention or handling.
